Hi, I made this environment for my second-year school project (Games Technical Art).
The concept originates from the game Elden Ring-Schoolhouse Classroom.
First, I came out with a 2D sketch with all the lengths of the main assets labelled. Then I did the bock out in Unreal engine 5.
Most of the assets are modelled within Maya and details are sculpted within Zbrush.
Textures are made within Substance Painter. There are tileable textures for the walls and floor and standard textures for individual assets.
I mainly used the baking process and decals for detailed stuff such as patterns to reduce the poly count of the environment.
I built up the environment within Unreal Engine 5. I added lighting and some other effects in Unreal.
Last, I took some screenshots of the environment I produced from different angles and put the images into Photoshop and Exposure for final adjustments.
The environment took me approximately a month to produce since I had other projects going on at the same time.
