Our game demo, "Timeless Easle," was a group effort involving me and nine other students. As the team leader and creative director, I steered the development of this puzzle game over a span of two months. I took on the role of designing the overall look for four different scenes, personally crafting the grey and red ones. The blue scene was created by a talented artist at

Developing the game's unique art style was a significant part of the process. The game's story centres on an artist who disappears, leaving a world formerly devoid of colour. We had a tight deadline of just 2.5 months and only three artists juggling this project alongside two other modules. To manage this, I chose to adapt our existing mesh and create distinct looks for each scene using varied textures and shaders. Each scene's texture style was inspired by real-world painting techniques – ink painting for the grey scene, oil painting for the blue, and a modern art gallery style for the red. I developed a workflow that was both speedy and effective, ensuring each scene was visually appealing. Fortunately, everything came together beautifully; we completed the project on time and received positive feedback from our teachers.
I'm really grateful to all the team members for their dedication and hard work on this project!
